Hi, I'm Jess — the photographer behind Salt Studios. I still pinch myself every day that I get to step into someone's story: a family's chaos and love, a couple's wedding day, the quiet pride of a small business owner who built something from scratch. Being trusted with those moments never gets old.

As a photographer, I'm part documentarian, part guide, part hopeless enthusiast — and wholly an artist. That mix comes from my fine art photography degree from Bard College in New York's Hudson Valley, and it's shaped every frame I've shot since. These days I'm based in Midcoast Maine, photographing families, weddings, and brands across the state.

For families, my goal is simple: to capture who you actually are, not a stiff, posed version of you. Real laughter, real closeness, real you — just beautifully framed.
